Pastor Letter for January 2018
Dear Members and Friends in the family of the Lord Jesus,
Happy New Year and blessed days ahead of us too. God is good all the time, as we all reflect on 2017, I personally believe our worship as individual and cooperatively proving that Jesus Christ is Lord and savior for all sinners and God’s will for us is to be saved and to bless many lost souls, as we continue share he good news of the savior to our community, our neighbors and fellow human beings because they deserve the love of Christ. This really remind us that to love God is to worship and to love God is to tell others about the love of God and to love God is to love one another. Our church discipleship training during 2016-2017 was really a great blessing for our church members and we greatly appreciate Saya Noah Ohn myint and Saya Samuel Thein setting aside their time for our church and we all learn well to be true followers of Christ as His disciples. Our church exists to serve God in serving one another as well as serving the poor, the needy, the rejected and the forgotten people near and far. Our church mission wing “Serve your Neighbor Australia (SYNA)” has started outreaches to Myanmar during 2017 and upcoming 2018. We thank the Lord for the establishment and activation of mission clinics in Lashio (North Eastern of Myanmar), Inn Daw Gyi (Far North of Myanmar) and Sittway (West coast of Myanmar), in cooperation with local churches there for mission and evangelism the Lord is working through those who love and serve Him and our mission is to teach so that they can see the kingdom of God through Jesus Christ and to treat and heal in Jesus name so that people who call upon the name of the Lord and will be saved not only physically but spiritually. Thank the Lord for our church as all these things become reality as we look back to 2017.
Let’s keep on honoring the name of the Lord as we enter into 2018. As we walk, relate, love and serve Jesus our church theme would be from Ephesians 3:20-21 (NIV) “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus, throughout all generations, forever and ever Amen.”
“Wise in Christ Generation”, lets pray, let’s imagine, let’s acknowledge His power at work within us and glorify God at church with fear and respect to His name and see our generations being blessed. Amen and have a wonderful blessed new year 2018.
